This Light is Mine

Listen… if spring had a dress code, this would be it. A soft neutral floral moment with just enough flow to make you feel like a goddess, but not so dramatic that you can’t bend over and grab your iced coffee off the patio table without flashing the neighbors.

I call this look my “soft glow with a side of don’t mess with me.” Because yes, the curls are flowing, the dress is twirling, the flowers are blooming, but I’m still a whole grown woman who knows exactly who she is.

This day was giving effortless joy. I sat outside, the light was just right, and for once I didn’t have to adjust my hair twenty times or fight with my lashes. Everything just… flowed. And maybe that’s the real glow-up: when you stop chasing perfect and just lean into what feels good.

You ever put on a dress and suddenly feel like you need a glass of champagne in your hand, a little soft jazz in the background, and a reason to cross your legs like you’re on a talk show? That’s what this outfit did to me. I swear I almost interviewed myself: “So Vera, tell us about this season of blooming…”

But seriously, this look made me feel calm, pretty, and powerful. Not loud. Not overly styled. Just beautifully present. And isn’t that the vibe we’re going for this season?

If you’re anything like me, you’ve had moments where you felt too tired, too stressed, or just too busy to feel beautiful. But let me remind you, your beauty isn’t waiting for you to get it all together. It’s already there. It just needed a little sunlight… and maybe a soft neutral dress.
